Margo is a small village in east central Saskatchewan. We have three lakes within a 5 mile radius (Margo Lake, Stoney Lake (Usinneska on maps), and Pelican Lake (Whitesand Lake on maps)) as well as Fishing Lake which is a large and well known lake that is approximately 7 miles away which makes 4 lakes right in our area. Margo is mainly an agricultural region with numerous small businesses spread out around the area. With the closure of our school and Co-op we are fighting hard to make sure our town doesn't follow in the footsteps of many others that are now more like ghost towns. We are a hunting and fishing hotspot and we play host to numerous hunting and fishing enthusiasts yearly.
